Porselanosa Donates Tile to Religious, Civic Organ
San Jose, CA, October 25-- Porselanosa Group announced the donation of more than $35,000 worth of porcelain tile to a range of Bay Area non-profit religious and civic groups.
These donations are part of a new corporate giving program instituted by the Northwestern regional office of Porselanosa, headquartered in San Jose.
A partial list of recipients of the first round of this program's grants includes:
-- The Roman Catholic Diocese of San Jose, which plans to use its $8,000 donation of floor and wall tile in the renovation of the historic Our Lady of Guadalupe Church;
-- Temple Emanu-El of San Jose, the oldest Reform Jewish Synagogue in the Bay Area, which will use its $8,000 donation of floor tile in the main reception area of its sanctuary and surrounding areas;
-- The YMCA, which plans to use its $8,000 donation of floor tile in a range of renovations of staff housing and common areas at YMCA of the Redwoods camp;
-- The Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, which will use its $3,000 gift certificate donation as an auction prize at its upcoming charity event at PIXAR headquarters.
Porselanosa has implemented this new program out of its Northwestern region as part of a corporate citizenship program by newly-appointed General Manager, Clifton Ashley.
