Porcelanosa Employing Experiential Marketing in 130 Showrooms

Austin, TX, October 18, 2018-Since September 2018, 130 Porcelanosa stores and showrooms have started featuring an immersive experiential marketing solution developed by Mood Media, an in-store media solutions company dedicated to elevating the Customer Experience.

The project involves the implementation of a sound and scent experience across 130 Porcelanosa stores and showrooms in Spain, the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Italy, Chile, Mexico, the United States and Canada, starting with its Vila-real store in Spain.

Experiential marketing is the design of creative and innovative experiences into which the consumer is immersed, creating an emotional bond between them and the brand.

Porcelanosa wanted to go one step further in creating an engaging atmosphere in its retail outlets, aiming to convey the essence of the brand through music and scent, elements that enable customers to immerse themselves further in the world of Porcelanosa.

Porcelanosa had a very clear starting requirement: to work with a supplier that had a presence in Spain but with a global reach, who could offer total control over the service provided. Thus, Mood Media was contracted to implement a fully self-manageable music and scent solution.

To reinforce the image of the Porcelanosa brand in its stores, Mood Media designed an elaborate playlist based on to the brand’s values and customers, and a fully customized scent solution diffusing an exclusive fragrance within the store without impairing the aesthetics of the space.
