Pfleiderer Names President of Flooring Division

Raleigh, NC, Jan. 29, 2009--Pfleiderer AG, parent company to Pergo, has named Ralf Eisermann CEO of the company’s flooring division, Pfleiderer Schweiz AG, Baar.

In this newly created position, Eisermann reports directly to Pfleiderer CEO Hans H. Overdiek and oversees the company’s flooring-related activities worldwide.

Eisermann’s appointment is part of a strategic initiative by Pfleiderer to centralize the company’s global flooring business under one roof.  Eisermann’s primary focus will be on further developing Pfleiderer’s laminate flooring business and penetrating new markets, while operating responsibilities for the existing European and North American business units will remain with Fredrik Emilson and George Kelley, respectively.

Eisermann brings to Pfleiderer more than 12 years of experience working in the laminate flooring category.  Most recently he served as speaker of the management for Agepan Tarkett Laminate Park, a joint venture between Tarkett and Sonae Industria.  Prior to that, he held various positions at the Classen Group.
