Pfleiderer Names New Chief Technical Officer

Neumarkt, Germany, Dec. 9, 2009--Hans-Kurt von Werder is Pfleiderer's new chief technical officer.

In this new position, he will be responsible for the headquarters functions of operations control, technical in-house consulting, and environmental safety and management.

In addition, he will be the headquarters coordinator for the engineers and plant managers of the Pfleiderer Group.

Von Werder joined the Pfleiderer Group in October 2005 as the technical director of BC Western Europe.
