Pfleiderer Makes Media Staff Changes in Europe

Neumarkt, Germany, July 13, 2009 – Pfleiderer AG says it has made changes to its communication structure at its Business Center Western Europe.

The unit now has its own media contact person, Emerenz Magerl. She is responsible for press relations for the Business Center as well as for its business units, the subsidiaries Duropal, Kunz, Pfleiderer Industrie, Thermopal and Wodego.

Emerenz Magerl was a trainee in the corporate communication department of Pfleiderer AG from May 2008 until May 2009. Following her studies of business administration and the arts, she worked as a copy editor for a regional newspaper as well as for book and magazine publishers in the fields of architecture, construction, building trades, furniture and interiors.

In June, Markus Schätzle was appointed head of global marketing and public relations at the Pfleiderer subsidiary Pergo.

Schätzle joined Pergo as a product manager with marketing responsibility for the region of Germany, Austria and Switzerland in December 2008. He will have operating responsibility for marketing and public relations in this region also in his new function.

Before joining Pergo he held a similar position for seven years at Witex, a producer of floor-coverings.
