Pfleiderer in Top 10 in German Marketing Study

Neumarkt, Germany, April 24, 2009--Pfleiderer AG took seventh place in an empirical marketing study conducted by BBDO Consulting and the chair of Innovative Brand Management at the University of Bremen.

Within the framework of the study, the success factors of market-oriented companies in Germany were examined by the international management consultants and the Chair.

Front runner is Volkswagen AG. The ranking is the basis for the BBDO Consulting Best Marketing Company Award.

The Pfleiderer AG Business Center Western Europe took part in the study for the first time and made it into the Top 10.

"Our placement among such strong corporate brands in Germany is outstanding. It is an expression of the multi-brand strategy which we successfully implemented five years ago and have further developed since then, oriented to the benefits to our customers and which they appreciate," said Michael Wolff of Pfleiderer AG.

More than 200 companies listed on the German stock exchange took part in the study, and were interviewed regarding their market orientation.
