Pfleiderer Centralizing IT Activities

Stuttgart, Germany, Oct. 27, 2008--Pfleiderer AG and IBM signed a seven-year outsourcing contract.

As part of the agreement, IBM will provide application hosting and management services out of Germany and Canada for all SAP Systems in Pfleiderer's worldwide locations. The IBM SAP Application Delivery Center Model will enable Pfleiderer to use and pay for services according to its needs.

"By centralizing our IT activities, our processes can become more efficient and more flexible," said Klaus Vogl, Group CIO of Pfleiderer AG.

The companies say that Pfleiderer could realize millions of dollars in potential cost savings.
