Personal Income & Spending Inched Up in June

Washington, DC, July 31, 2018-Personal income increased $71.7 billion (0.4%) in June according to estimates released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

Disposable personal income (DPI) increased $65.3 billion (0.4%), and personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $57.1 billion (0.4%).

Real DPI increased 0.3% in June, and Real PCE increased 0.3%. The PCE price index increased 0.1%. Excluding food and energy, the PCE price index increased 0.1%.
