Personal Income Flat in November, Spending Inches Upward
Washington, DC, December 22, 2016—Personal income increased $1.6 billion (less than 0.1%) in November, according to estimates released by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Disposable personal income (DPI) decreased $1.3 billion (less than 0.1%) and personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $24.0 billion (0.2%).
Real DPI decreased 0.1% in November and Real PCE increased 0.1%. The PCE price index increased less than 0.1%. Excluding food and energy, the PCE price index increased less than 0.1%.
