Personal Income Flat in February

Washington, DC, March 29, 2010--U.S. personal income remained unchanged in February compared to January's 0.3% increase, according to the Commerce Department.

The January figure was revised upwards from 0.1%. February's figure was lower than the expected rise of 0.1%.

The Personal Income released by the Bureau of Economic Analysismeasures the total income received by individuals, from all sources including wages and salaries, interest, dividends, rent, workers' compensation, proprietors' earnings, and transfer payments.
