Pergo¹s Not Going to Surfaces in January

Raleigh, NC, October 13 --Pergo has decided not to attend Surfaces 2005 and will pursue a different strategy of supporting its specialty retailer business through expanded one-on-one contacts and more roadshows with distributors. The decision was not based on either cost factors or attendance at past Surfaces shows according to David Small, director of marketing at Pergo. The company has attended Surfaces for the past six years. There are no plans to institute regional meetings like Shaw and Mohawk have done. Pergo¹s separate business unit created around its Four-in-One molding concept will exhibit at the show.
