Pergo Wins Appeal

Trelleborg, Sweden, Sept. 11—The U.S. Court of Appeal for the Federal Circuit has affirmed the ruling from the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) from March 2002. The ruling says that joints manufactured by Pergo under license from Unilin do not violate the patent held by Välinge Aluminium AB. The ruling means that Pergo is free to import and sell products with these joints in the US without restrictions.
