Pergo Select Goes Glueless

Raleigh, NC, August 4--Laminate manufacturer Pergo has added a glueless installation system to its Select line. “This is a natural next step for this product,” said Kathy Andreas, marketing director of specialty business for Pergo, Inc. “With the strong growth of glueless flooring, the time was right to combine the premium quality and performance attributes of Pergo Select with the added convenience of a click joint." Pergo Select is a high-pressure, ten millimeter laminate floor with unparalleled impact, scratch and wear resistance. In fact, Pergo Select has an AC5 rating--one of the highest in the laminate industry--for wear resistance, as well as certification by the North American Laminate Flooring Association (NALFA) for meeting and exceeding all industry standards. The new Pergo Select also will feature Pergo’s patented SmartLock joint developed exclusively for glueless applications, along with DuraCore 500, a specially engineered core material, found only in Pergo Select, that resists moisture, provides superior dent resistance and a more realistic sound. Like all Pergo Select products, the new glueless offerings feature LusterGard Plus scratch protection. Additionally, the new glueless Pergo Select features a Lifetime Wall-to-Wall Warranty against wear-through, stains, fading and water damage from everyday spills and damp mopping. For commercial applications, the Pergo Select Limited Commercial Warranty recently was extended from seven to ten years, making the product suitable for a broader range of commercial applications.
