Pergo Sees Management Changes Under New Owners

Trelleborg, Sweden, May 4, 2007--George R. Kelley has been named president and CEO of the newly integrated flooring companies Pergo, Inc and Uniboard.  Effective immediately, Kelley will oversee and direct all aspects of the North American flooring business, replacing Tony Sturrus who resigned earlier this week from this position, as well as his duties as CEO of Pergo AB, to pursue other personal interests.

Kelley comes to Pergo after serving seven years as president and executive board member of Virginia-based Böhler-Uddeholm Specialty Metals, Inc., the North American production and sales division of High Speed Steels and Powder Metallurgy.  Prior to joining Böhler-Uddeholm Specialty Metals, Inc., Kelley held the position of president and executive board member at Zapp USA Inc., which specializes in high-precision cold forming and sales of metals.

Succeeding Sturrus as CEO of Pergo AB is Michael Ernst, board member of Pfleiderer AG, Pergo’s new parent company.  Frida Rosenholm has been elected deputy CEO of Pergo’s European operations.
