Pergo Appoints Duval VP of Sales

Raleigh, NC, January 17--Pergo has appointed Paul Duval as the company’s new vice president of sales. Duval joined the company January 10, 2005. "This is an important and exciting addition for us and our customers,” said Tony Sturrus, president of Pergo Inc. "Paul brings an outstanding background in building strong winning relationships with customers. He is an ideal choice to lead our sales organization as we work to broaden Pergo’s appeal and strengthen our relationships." Duval has spent the past nine years with The Scotts Company, the world’s leader in lawn and garden consumer products. While there, he led the North American sales division including home center and independent retail accounts. Later, he led the team managing the Home Depot account. Duval also has served as director of sales at the Teknor Apex Company and director of marketing services at A.H. Hoffman, Inc., both gardening product suppliers. "I am very excited about being part of the Pergo organization," said Duval. "While the industry is different, the retailers and sales challenges are very familiar to me. I very much look forward to working with our customers and greater strengthening the relationships Pergo has built with its trade partners. In addition, I am excited to work with the sales and marketing teams to build Pergo’s market share and enhance its leadership position."
