Pergo Announces New Patent

Trelleborg, Sweden, March 04--Pergo AB and Pergo, Inc. said that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office has granted Patent No.6,860,074 to the company. The company said the patent guarantees exclusive rights in Pergo, SimpleSolutions Four-in-One Molding. The company said that this patent will ensure protection of the innovative all-inclusive, snap-together molding system, which offers significant savings in both time and cost for retailers, installers and consumers in handling these types of accessories. The Four-in-One Moldings are being manufactured at the company’s new 60,000-square-foot facility in Garner, N.C. The facility, which is fully automated, is dedicated exclusively to the production of moldings and surface accessories, primarily for the U.S. market.
