Harrisburg, PA, September 22, 2005 -— Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell announced the approval of ten Pennsylvania Industrial Development Authority (PIDA) loans totaling more than $13.4 million. The loans will create and retain 970 jobs at various companies in seven counties across the commonwealth. Among the loans approved M.R.W. Realty, LLC received a $1.3 million PIDA loan to construct a new 43,860-square-foot building in Pine Township. The building will be leased to Best Tile Distributors of Pittsburgh Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of domestic and imported tiles founded in 1984. The company is currently operating in a 25,000-square-foot facility 1.5 miles away and will transfer its operation and 30 existing employees to the new site. The new building will include a new fabrication shop, and allow the company to create eight new jobs within the next three years.
