Paredes Named President & CEO, Hannover Fairs USA

Princeton, NJ, January 19, 2006-- Effective January 1, 2006, Art Paredes has been promoted to the position of president and CEO of Hannover Fairs USA, Inc. , the U.S. subsidiary of Hannover, Germany-based tradeshow organizer Deutsche Messe AG. Prior to this position, Mr. Paredes had served as vice president and general manager of HFUSA's West Coast Operations as well as chairman of the ISCe Satellite & Communications Conference and Expo. He succeeds Joachim Schaefer, who is returning to Germany to work for Messe Duesseldorf. Ernst Raue, Member of the Managing Board of Deutsche Messe AG, said, "Mr. Paredes brings many years of tradeshow, sales and marketing experience to this position. As president and CEO, Mr. Paredes will now serve as primary liaison between HFUSA and Deutsche Messe AG. He will also take the lead in investigating and developing new HFUSA ventures both domestically and overseas, and in initiating and maintaining partnerships with local, regional, national and international trade agencies and organizations. David Bross, director of business development for HFUSA, has assumed the role of ISCe Chairman and is responsible for all day-to-day activities related to the event.
