Paolillo Named VP, Sales, McGraw-Hill Construction
New York, NY, June 5, 2007--McGraw-Hill Construction (MHC), part of The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP), announced today the appointment of William J. Paolillo as vice president, Sales. In this position, Paolillo will lead MHC’s Contractors & Services (C&S) sales channel. His responsibilities include increasing adoption of, and satisfaction with, MHC’s products; optimizing existing general contractor and subcontractor sales channels and developing new ones; and extending C&S’s reach within the $4.6 trillion global construction community.
Paolillo joins MHC from ICI Paints, one of the world’s largest producers of specialty products and paints worldwide, with $4.3 billion in global sales, 49 manufacturing sites in 25 countries, and more than 15,000 employees. Paolillo joined ICI Paints in 2002 and most recently served as vice president, Trade Sales, overseeing 550 sales professionals. He also has sales and marketing experience with the company’s Glidden and Devoe brands. Prior to ICI, Paolillo held numerous senior level general management and sales positions, including positions with Proctor & Gamble, DeWalt Power Tools & Accessories, and Black & Decker’s Kwikset.

Paolillo holds a B.A. in Economics from Binghamton University, and an M.B.A. from the University of Southern California.
