Lahore, Pakistan, May 17, 2006--Pakistan's carpet exports during first nine months of the year 2005-06 stood at Rs 11.947 million against Rs 11.758 million in the corresponding period of previous year, according to the Daily Times.
According to carpet industry analyst, Naeem Tahir Sheikh, Pakistan's Chobi carpet is much-liked commodity across the world. In terms of quantity, Pakistan exported 3.475 million square meters of carpets during the period July 2005-March 2006.
