Toledo, OH, Mar. 22- Owens-Illinois, the biggest manufacturer of glass containers in North and South America, on Monday said a DuPont executive, Steven McCracken, will succeed Joseph Lemieux as president and chief executive on April 1.
McCracken has spent 30 years at DuPont Co., most recently serving as president of its INVISTA subsidiary.
Lemieux will remain Owens-Illinois chairman until he retires at the annual meeting in May. McCracken will then assume the role of chairman as well, the company said.
