Overdiek Reappointed Pfleiderer Chairman

Neumarkt, October 29, 2007--Pfleiderer AG has given Hans H. Overdiek a five-year contract extension beginning November 1.

In addition, Overdiek has been appointed chairman of the Executive Board. He was previously  speaker of that board.

Overdiek has been a member of the Executive Board since the beginning of 2001 and its speaker since the middle of 2003. He has made focused on restructuring the group’s engineered wood while expanding its international reach and adding laminate flooring.

Pfleiderer has annual sales revenues of nearly 2 billion euros and is one of the leading international suppliers of engineered wood.
