Oscoda Plastics Signs New Distributors
Oscoda, MI, June 29,2006--Oscoda Plastics, Inc., has announced the addition of two regional flooring distributors to its distribution network for Protect-All Specialty Flooring products: Omaha Hardwood Lumber Company (dba Oharco) in Omaha, Nebraska; and Badger Metal Trims in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Oharco started business in 1898 as a wholesale supplier of hardwood and softwood lumber products. Today, Oharco's services include residential and commercial floor covering, countertops and other decorative surface product lines. Oharco distributes flooring products through three sales branches in Nebraska, Iowa, and Illinois. Badger Metal Trims has distributed floor coverings, flooring installation supplies, and accessories for over 35 years. Badger Metal Trim markets its flooring products throughout the states of Wisconsin, Northern Illinois, and Eastern Minnesota. “We are excited to add these regional distributors to our distribution network,” said John Rouse, Oscoda Plastics national sales manager. “Each distributor is a recognized leader in its market and all of these companies will help us respond to the growing market demand for environmentally-friendly flooring products.” In addition to these distributors, Protect-All Specialty Flooring is sold by Salesmaster, Bixco, Specialty Products, CDC, and Pac Mat flooring distributors, added Rouse. Manufactured from 100% remnant vinyl and certified by the National Floor Safety Institute, Protect-All Specialty Flooring helps reduce slips and falls in addition to offering stain and fire protection for areas exposed to water, heavy-traffic patterns, and extreme weight loads. Protect-All also resists mildew and other bacterial growth. It does not absorb water and is non-corrosive, even when exposed to chemicals, animal fats or grease. Applications include: building entrances, gymnasiums, weight rooms, locker rooms, commercial kitchens, pool decks, and automotive service garages. Protect-All is available in six colors, varying sheet sizes and thicknesses, with matte or texture top surface finishes as well as interlocking and square tiles. Manufactured in Oscoda, Michigan, Protect-All Specialty Flooring derives its durability and slip-resistance from a patented thermal fusion process that blends remnant industrial vinyl together into one monolithic piece. Oscoda Plastics, Inc., is a manufacturer specializing in the production of environmentally-friendly, recycled building products. For further information: oscodaplastics.com
