Omnova Raising Latex Prices as of Aug. 17

Fairlawn, OH, July 27, 2009--Omnova Solutions has announced a price increase of $0.12 per dry pound on styrene butadiene latex for carpet and related markets, effective Aug. 17.

The firm said the increase is necessitated by the continued inflation in raw material costs.

Omnova is a make of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals, and decorative and functional surfaces for a variety of commercial, industrial and residential end uses.
