Omnova 3Q Earnings Up 36%

Fairlawn, OH, September 18, 2007—Omnova Solutions in the third quarter reported net earnings that increased 36% to $4.5 million, or $0.11 a share, from $3.3 million, or $0.08 a share in the year-ago period.

Sales were up 12% to $196.8 million from $175.1 million, boosted by an increase in sales prices and improved unit volumes.

Analysts were expecting earnings per share of $0.11.
