Olson Named Assistant Director of NCTA

Jackson, MS, Dec. 1, 2008--The National Tile Contractors Association has named Jim Olson as the new assistant executive director. He is responsible for growing the association's membership and training programs.

Olson has worked in the tile distribution sector for nearly three decades. He has extensive experience in working with contracting companies, floor-covering dealers, builders, general contractors, architects and designers.

“I’ve been in this industry for over 29 years in sales to the installer, retailer and distributor," Olson said.

“I feel that I finally have a chance to give back to the tile industry by working with the NTCA. This is a great way for me to round-off my career… a real feeling of accomplishment and fulfillment. I’ve gone full circle in this industry.”
