Oil Prices Up $11 in Last Month
New York, NY, March 13, 2012 -- Oil prices rose to near $107 a barrel Tuesday on signs that an improving U.S. economy will boost demand.
Benchmark oil for April delivery was up 57 cents to $106.91 on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
The contract fell $1.06 to settle at $106.34 per barrel in New York on Monday. Brent crude was up 60 cents at $125.94 per barrel in London.
Crude has jumped from $96 last month.
