Oil Prices Continue Slide

New York, NY, Jan. 5, 2015 -- Oil prices continued to fall on Monday on record supplies from Iraq and Russia.

Brent for February settlement declined as much as $1.26 to $55.16 a barrel on the London-based ICE Futures Europe exchange.

West Texas Intermediate for February delivery dropped as much as $1.29, or 2.4%, to $51.40 a barrel in electronic trading on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
