Franklin, OH, June 6--Buddy's Carpet and Flooring has replaced three Cincinnati-area stores with larger ones. It will also open an expansion location this week, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer.
The company's new Tri-County location is in the MicroCenter Mall on Mosteller Road north of I-275. It houses a retail store, regional warehouse, the company's commercial division and showroom and regional office. The 10,000-plus-square-foot facility replaces a 3,000-square-foot store.
In Anderson Township, Buddy's has moved from a 5,000-square-foot store on Beechmont Avenue to one with twice the space at 8594 Beechmont. The new location houses a retail showroom and production plant.
Buddy's now occupies just over 7,000 square feet in Ridgewater Plaza in Columbia Township. The new location includes retail showroom and production space and is more than double the size of the former Buddy's nearby.
A fourth showroom store opened Tuesday in the Dudley Farms retail complex at Tylersville and Cox roads in West Chester Township.
"Together, this new expansion phase represents Buddy's investment of more than $500,000 and will generate 10 new jobs for Greater Cincinnati," said company spokesman Chris Johnson.
