Nydree Flooring Consolidating Manufacturing

Forest, VA, Sept. 14, 2010--Nydree Flooring said it is consolidating factory locations by moving the Forest-based manufacturing facility to Karthaus, Pennsylvania.

Nydree’s corporate headquarters will remain in Virginia with sales offices in Atlanta and New York.

"The consolidation of both plants is a very strategic move designed to increase efficiencies, decrease lead times, improve overall quality, and reduce our environmental impact from transporting material between two plants,” said company vice president of manufacturing Rob Wilson.

Nydree said it will also upgrade manufacturing facilities in Karthaus with energy efficient and new production equipment.

Nydree Flooring manufactures acrylic impregnated wood flooring products.
