NY Business Hall of Fame Organizes

Fishkill, NY, August 15, 2006--The New York Business Hall Of Fame announced its formation, mission statement and upcoming events at an afternoon press conference today in New York, NY. Established to “celebrate” business and recognize companies and business leaders throughout the state, the New York Business Hall Of Fame will also be holding a variety of business networking and educational events. As yet, the group has no bricks and mortar 'hall;' startup plans call only for networking and organziational efforts, according to director Ron Dresner. “With a statewide view of promoting business and the success stories behind corporate development, the New York Business Hall Of Fame will complement chamber activities and industry association efforts. Since we are promoting business activities throughout the state, we can help to create more of awareness about industry specific and general commerce events,” said Dresner, director, New York Business Hall Of Fame. “We’re really looking to promote the success stories about different companies that perhaps most of us have not heard about. By bringing out these success stories, we can further economic development and commerce throughout the state. From Brooklyn up to Newburgh then over to Niagara Falls and all the way to Essex County, the New York Business Hall Of Fame will be developing a PR, advertising and promotions campaign that will reach out throughout New York state." “We’re finding genuine interest in the Hall Of Fame and its activities from lawyers, technology professionals, ad agency personnel, retail managers, financial market executives and various other professionals,” explained TJ Walker, recently installed New York Business Hall Of Fame board member and president of Media Training Worldwide. “We also hope to be announcing the full roster of the New York Business Hall Fame board of directors before our first networking event next month.” Starting in September 2006, the New York Business Hall Of Fame will begin accepting nominations for induction into the Hall Of Fame. Each year, one to three companies and business leaders that are nominated will be chosen to be honored as Hall Of Fame inductees. “The companies and business leaders that will be chosen each year will be part of a year long celebration of business throughout the state. From podcasting to event marketing around the state, the Hall Of Fame will promote the best and brightest,” explained New York Business Hall Of Fame Board Member Vince Bertollino. “In addition to our networking events, we shortly will introduce free educational seminar events at various locations around the state.” The New York Business Hall Of Fame showcases successful companies and business leaders. In addition, the organization will be awarding an annual scholarship to a New York graduate student. For more information, visit www.newyorkbhof.com.
