NTCA Launches Online Career Center

Jackson, MS, May 16, 2007--The National Tile Contractors Association (NTCA) recently launched its interactive job board, the NTCA Career Center. With its focus on ceramic tile, natural stone and allied industry companies and professionals, the NTCA Career Center offers its members—and the industry at large—an easy-to-use and highly targeted resource for online employment connections.

Both members and non-members can use the NTCA Career Center to reach qualified candidates. "Let NTCA be your Career Center headquarters,” said Bob Brown, NTCA membership director. “If you’re looking for qualified leads we can help your business."

Employers can post jobs online, search for qualified candidates based on specific job criteria, and create an online resume agent to email qualified candidates daily.  They also benefit from online reporting that provides job activity statistics.

For job seekers, NTCA Career Center is a free service that provides access to employers and jobs in the ceramic tile and allied industries.  In addition to posting their resumes, job seekers can browse and view available jobs based on their criteria and save those jobs for later review if they choose. Job seekers can also create a search agent to provide email notifications of jobs that match their criteria.

Employers and job seekers can access the user-friendly NTCA Career Center by logging onto the NTCA website at www.tile-assn.com and clicking on Career Center.

Though devised, designed and provided by NTCA, the NTCA Career Center is “absolutely not a members-only service,” said Bart Bettiga, NTCA executive director. “The goal here is to create an ‘Industry Career Center’ that serves the needs of all professional categories. The simple, easy-to-navigate format features four professional categories of contracting, distribution, fabrication and manufacturing. All four categories have companies interested in hiring individuals that are qualified. This does a good job of qualifying the candidate prior to the interview process.” NTCA members will get preferred pricing if they want to place classified ads on the NTCA Career Center. A special introductory offer is available through June for companies looking to find qualified candidates to fill positions in the industry.
