Nova Scotia's Largest Sawmill Closing

Nova Scotia, Canada, Dec. 1, 2010 -- Groupe Savoie said that on December 10 it will close it Westville mill, the largest hardwood sawmill in Nova Scotia.

The company said it could reopen the mill in the spring. In the meantime, the company is looking at ways to improve efficiency in its operations.
