Nourison Opens Georgia Distribution Center

Calhoun, GA, June 11, 2007--Gordon County Mayor Jimmy Palmer and several Georgia state officials celebrated with Nourison executives and employees at an official grand opening, ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday at the company’s newest warehouse and distribution center located in Calhoun.

 

The Mayor welcomed the addition of the 300,000 square foot state-of-the-art carpet and rug distribution center to the local economy for bringing jobs to Gordon County and the city of Calhoun.  Chamber of Commerce officials, led by Jimmy Phillips discussed how the facility would positively affect local merchants and contribute to the economic well being of the community, city and entire state of Georgia.

 

Nearly 100 guests including local county officials, merchants, customers and press enjoyed a gourmet barbecue and tour of the facilities.
