North American Pavilion Added to Beijing Exhibitio
Beijing, China, April 12--The Chinese International Exhibition Company (CIEC) has announced a North American Pavilion will be organized for the 6th China International Floor Coverings and Carpet Fair to be held September 13-16, 2005 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.
Organized by the Chinese Flooring Committee and CIEC, the 5th China International Floor Coverings & Carpet Fair (Floor Coverings 2004) drew over 150 exhibitors. The 4-day event attracted more than 13,000 domestic and overseas trade visitors to see a wide range of flooring products displayed in the 100,000 square foot exhibition hall.
Participation by the China Carpet Standardization Technical Committee, a co-organizer of the 2006 event, is expected to increase the number of carpet manufacturers represented at the show this year.
Sponsored by CIEC, a flooring industry delegation representing a dozen firms in the U.S. and Canada attended last year's exhibition. In addition to participating in opening ceremonies, a special face-to-face meeting was arranged with selected exhibitors at the show based on each delegate's interests. The successful program will be offered again this year.
A North American Pavilion featuring areas for associations, manufacturers, delegates, and media companies to display their products and services in a centralized location is being added this year.
