Beijing, China, June 15, 2006--The Chinese International Exhibition Company (CIEC) announced a flooring industry delegation from North American firms will be invited to the 7th China International Floor Coverings and Carpet Fair to be held September 20-23, 2006 at the China International Exhibition Center in Beijing.
Organized by the Chinese Flooring Committee and CIEC, last year's event drew 175 exhibitors and attracted more than 12,000 domestic and overseas trade visitors to see a wide range of flooring products displayed in the 100,000 sq. ft. exhibition hall.
Sponsored by CIEC, a flooring industry delegation representing a dozen firms in the US and Canada attended last year's exhibition. In addition to participating in opening ceremonies, special meetings were arranged based on each delegate's interests. Optional factory tours have been added to the program for 2006.
Participation by the China Carpet Standardization Technical Committee, a co-organizer of the 2006 event, is expected to increase the number of carpet manufacturers represented at the show this year.
