Memphis, TN, November 7, 2006--NOFMA: The Wood Flooring Manufacturers Association has revised and updated its Wood Floor Care Guide.
NOFMA developed the revised version with the help of several member companies, including glue experts, nail experts, flooring manufacturers, flooring distributors and other industry experts.
NOFMA's Wood Floor Care Guide covers multiple topics including preventive maintenance, daily cleaning tips, and how to repair solid hardwood flooring for both a surface and wax finish. The Guide also describes how to identify the type of finish on the wood floor if necessary. The updated version also includes a stain removal guide, handy for homeowners to reference for tips on how to remove gum, paint, mold/mildew, etc. for both a wax and polyurethane finishes.
