Noah Chitty Named Chairman of ISO/TC 189 Ceramic Tile Committee

Crossville, TN, September 10, 2019-Noah Chitty, director of technical services, has been named chairman of the ISO/TC 189 ceramic tile committee. He will serve as chairman for the period 2019 to 2024.

The committee overseas and sets the standards for the ceramic industry. The chairman is responsible for the overall management of the committee, including any sub-committees and 11 working groups. This includes 32 participating countries and 27 countries observing.

His direct role includes the committee’s day-to-day work, helping to manage projects effectively, and leading the committee in reaching concensus.
