New Zealand’s Feltex Senior Staffers Jump To Godfr
Wellington, New Zealand, March 8, 2006--New Zealand carpet maker Feltex Carpets Ltd., has lost two of its most senior Australian sales managers to rival companies in recent weeks, the Business Herald newspaper reported.
The newspaper said the departures include national sales manager Garry Mobbs, who has taken up a role with rival Australian company Godfrey Hirst Australia Pty. Ltd., and Melbourne-based Brendon Fall, national manager of residential sales, left to go to Victoria Carpets.
The newspaper quoted an unnamed former senior Feltex manager as saying the departures will create a "huge vacuum" within the business on the sales side, but Feltex said it was confident it would perform well without the people.
