New Las Vegas Hotel Features Hardwood Floors

Las Vegas, NV, Dec. 9, 2009--Hardwood flooring is part of a newly-opened luxury hotel in Las Vegas that is seeking to provide an alternative to the traditional casino-based experience.

The Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas features hardwood flooring in its rooms, along with oval bathtubs and Asian decor.

Hardwood's place in a luxury hotel suggests that it can be regarded as a high-end material, even if it is not always very expensive.

Wood is also being used in the Sheraton Suites Tampa Airport Westshore hotel in Florida.
