New Compact Nourison Display Shows 100s Rugs
High Point, NC, Oct. 20, 2008--Rug firm Nourison has created a way for a retailer to show hundreds of SKUs to consumers in 20 square feet of floor space, and will show it off at this week's High Point Market.
Nourison says its new Rug Boutique rack can show hundreds of SKUs to consumers in a small retail space.
The Rug Boutique is a self-service shopping showcase that addresses what Nourison says are three top concerns of retailers relating to textile displays: cost, space and efficiency. The company says the boutique can show about 100 rug designs and upwards of 600 SKUs.
A kiosk with panels that consumers can flip to look at rug samples, The Rug Boutique is under eight feet tall and uses seven linear feet of floor space. Rugs are available in every size and shape, including custom shapes and roll runners, helping create add-on sales, the company said.
Nourison quick-ships the ordered rugs from what it says is the world's largest in-stock area rug warehouse, which reinforces the large number of selections available via the Rug Boutique.
Point-of-purchase boards give consumers selling features and detailed explanations to help consumers visualize where to place rugs in their home, and offer guidance on finding the right-sized product while maximizing the selling opportunity for multiple rooms.
