Netherlands Firm Embeds LED in Carpet

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, Dec. 8, 2009--Lama Concepts has integrated light emitting diodes into carpeting.

The technology was first shown at the Paris Airshow in an Airbus 350, where the LEDs show you the way to the exits.

The company can customize the amount and colors of the LED, and the shape of the carpet, including the LED.
