NeoCon East Holds Largest Ever Show

Baltimore, MD, Dec. 5, 2008--There were nearly 8,000 attendees and more than 300 exhibitors at the sixth annual NeoCon East show, making it the largest event in the show’s history.

“Attendance and exhibitor participation were very strong, showing the strength of NeoCon East as a premier government and commercially-focused trade show,” said Mark Falanga, senior vice-president of Merchandise Mart Properties, Inc.

The number of NeoCon East exhibitors grew seven percent from 2007, and exhibit space grew by nearly 4,000 square feet, making the show more than 240,000 square feet.

Show attendance was steady from 2007, with nearly 8,000 industry professionals during the two day show, and included three main show components: Buildings Show®, GREENlife: Products for Sustainable Environments and Architectural Stone and Ceramic Tile Exposition.
