NEFCA Offers Recap of Winter 2026 Meeting

Boston MA, March 11, 2026--The New England Floor Coverers Association (NEFCA) hosted a winter gathering of its members and vendor partners at Banners Grill in downtown Boston, to kick up 2026 and bring together members many of whom had not been in one room since Covid.

David Ruggieri, board president of NEFCA kicked off the meeting, welcomed the crowd of over 125 and offered that, in the post-Covid era, NEFCA will be more active with its members and vendor partners to work together to secure business in the greater Boston area. Ruggieri then introduced Randy Weis, the executive director of NEFCA, who welcomed the crowd and talked about the “refresh” going on behind the scenes with its logo and website, a move towards more engagement with the community and plans for building community awareness.

NEFCA is a 53-year-old member trade group formed in 1973, promoting union floorcovering installation, the training and safety programs provided by local 2168.  Today NEFCA has 18 member companies and over 50 vendor partners.
