Nation's Economic Stress Declines in August
New York, NY, Oct. 6, 2010--Lower foreclosure rates helped decrease economic stress nationwide in August, according to an analysis by the Associated Press.
Stress declined in August in 33 of the 50 states and in two-thirds of the nation's 3,141 counties, AP said.
The index calculates a score for each county and state from 1 to 100 based on unemployment, foreclosure and bankruptcy rates.
