MultiFamily Solutions Launches Project MultiFacet

Marietta, GA, November 30, 2005—MultiFamily Solutions, a division of FloorExpo, sets a new standard of excellence in the multi-family business with the launch of Project MultiFacet—a benchmarking program designed to give members a competitive edge. The program was developed by a team of researchers who utilized the expertise of Multi-Family Solutions members to identify key strengths and weaknesses within the industry. MultiFamily Solutions is making this proprietary information available to its members via Project MultiFacet seminars, books, and CDs. Project MultiFacet took six months to develop, with researchers interviewing, surveying or visiting every MultiFamily Solutions member. The extensive survey consisted of 196 questions that covered key areas of the multi-family builder business, from operations to sales management. “Based on our research, we identified over 80 proven Best Practices for the apartment flooring segment,” says Graham Howerton, vice president of MultiFamily Solutions. “These practices are the core of the Project MultiFacet program. We built around—and beyond—these practices to give our members the power to improve every facet of their business. Once implemented, we expect this program to add 3-5% to each member’s bottom line.” MultiFamily Solutions will deliver Project MultiFacet around the country in day-and-a-half workshops that review each practice in detail and outline easy-to-implement strategies that reduce costs, increase sales, and improve profitability. Books on key topics, such as accounting and finance, customer service, contingency planning, installation, technology, sales management and human resources, along with a complete survey analysis are given to attendees. Each principal also receives an individual analysis that compares his company against all MultiFamily Solutions members. FloorExpo is America’s largest finishing contractor network. The MultiFamily Solutions division is a national network of the finest multifamily flooring contractors in America. These businesses service real estate investment trusts (REITs), apartment owners, and property managers in most of the nation’s top 50 multifamily markets.
