Mullican Raises Money for Children's Hospital

Johnson City, TN, October 26, 2007--Mullican Flooring’s October 20 sale of its products has earned a substantial sum for contribution to Niswonger Children’s Hospital.

“We’re absolutely thrilled with the outcome -- $85,451 -- from the Mullican Flooring sale,” said Pat Holtsclaw, president of the Mountain States Foundation (MSF). MSF is the fundraising arm of Mountain States Health Alliance (MSHA). “Everyone at Mullican was committed to making the sale a great success. Employees there were so accommodating, making sure customers had the hardwood flooring they wanted. Mullican Flooring is a huge example of a wonderful corporate partner stepping up to make a difference.

“The involvement and hard work of all the Mullican employees was significant to the success of this year’s sale,” Holtsclaw added. “What a great attitude they all have.”

Combined with the total from the first Mullican Flooring sale held two years ago, Mullican and its employees have given $200,000 to Niswonger Children’s Hospital, under construction on the campus at Johnson City Medical Center (JCMC).

“It was a lot of work for the Mullican employees, who pulled inventory and did everything they possibly could to ensure that this sale would be successful,” Holtsclaw said.
