Mullican Flooring to Appear on TLC April 9

Johnson City, TN, April 8--Mullican Flooring will be featured on TLC’s new primetime home redesign show Moving Up. The episode, titled "Calamityville Horror," will air on Saturday, April 9, at 8 p.m. (ET/PT). Mullican supplied more than 1,000 square feet of 2 1/4-inch solid oak saddle hardwood flooring for the kitchen, living room, dining room and three bedrooms of the home, which is located in Beltsville, Md. "I was out of this world when I found out that Mullican was interested in donating flooring, because I knew it was a top-of-the-line hardwood flooring company," said homeowner Rebekka Popov. "Mullican’s selection far surpassed the selection offered by other flooring companies. It was also helpful to have someone from Mullican help me assess my needs and determine the type of flooring that was right for my home." Hosted by Trading Spaces popular designer Doug Wilson, Moving Up is an hour-long show that follows families as they implement their unique or extreme taste in design immediately after they move into their new home. Mullican Flooring, the nation’s second largest manufacturer of 3/4-inch solid hardwood flooring, is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Mullican has facilities in five states, including plants in Norton, Va., Holland, N.Y., Bowling Green, Ky., Ronceverte, W.Va., and Johnson City.
