Mr. David's and Floors by Beckers Form Partnership

Chicago, IL and Minneapolis, MN, April 22, 2019-Mr. David’s Flooring International (MDFI) and Floors by Beckers (Beckers) have announced their new equity partnership, forming an enterprise serving the global commercial flooring community.

Operations of the partnership will continue under the leadership of Beckers’ John D. Becker (CEO) and William C. Becker (VP) as well as MDFI’s founders David Zmijewski and Leonard Zmijewski (CEO).

As commercial contract flooring providers, MDFI and Beckers specialize in serving general contractors, architects/designers, corporations and facility managers. The companies also serve key industries, including healthcare, hospitality, education, government, and public/private sector facilities. This partnership enables Beckers to leverage the strengths of MDFI’s leadership and resources and continuing to deliver on-time, warrantied flooring craftsmanship, as well as long-term sustainability. Both companies are members of the Starnet Worldwide Commercial Flooring Co-op, the world’s largest network of independent commercial floorcovering service providers.

The companies will continue investing in digital service platforms, personnel, equipment and education. The partnership will allow the companies to realize significant regional growth by driving operational efficiencies, providing excellent service, technical and specification expertise, quality workmanship and service collaboration across the entire MDFI platform.
