Mortgage Rates Hit Another Record Low
Washington, DC, July 27, 2012 -- Mortgage rates reached new all-time lows this week for both the 30-year and 15-year fixed-rate loans, according to Freddie Mac.
The average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage dropped 0.04 percentage point to 3.49%.
Meanwhile, the 15-year fixed-rate mortgages fell to 2.80% from 2.83% the week before.
Rates have fallen or matched lows for 13 of the past 14 weeks.
